Adult ADHD Assessment & Treatment

Comprehensive evaluation for adults who suspect they may have ADHD. This includes validated screening tools, detailed clinical interview, and review of collateral information where available. If diagnosed, we develop a personalised treatment plan including medication options and non-pharmacological strategies.

  • Detailed symptom and developmental history
  • Assessment for co-existing conditions
  • Semi-structured assessment using DIVA 5.0 including discussion with person known to patient for collateral history
  • Formulation and development of a holistic treatment plan which may typically include psychoeducation, lifestyle interventions, psychotherapy recommendations and medication management
  • Provision of comprehensive written report to GP and patient

Patient Eligibility

  • ADHD assessments: patients aged 17 years and over
  • All other assessments: patients aged 18 years and over
  • *Age thresholds apply unless otherwise clinically indicated.
Medicare rebates may be available for eligible patients with a valid GP referral. Eligibility depends on referral type, Medicare item requirements, and individual circumstances.
