Clinical Approach
My practice is built on the belief that good psychiatric care requires time, attention, compassion, and genuine collaboration. I take a biopsychosocial approach, considering not just symptoms and diagnoses, but the whole person — their history, relationships, work, and personal goals.
Assessment is the foundation of effective treatment.
I invest time in understanding what you're experiencing, how it developed, and what factors might be contributing. This thorough approach helps ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning. I believe in shared decision-making. After explaining my assessment and recommendations clearly, we work together to develop a treatment plan that makes sense for your circumstances. I provide regular written summaries so you and your GP have a clear record of our discussions and plans.
