SolasMind is a private psychiatric practice. Medicare rebates may be available for eligible patients with a valid GP referral. Eligibility depends on referral type, Medicare item requirements, and individual circumstances. All fees are transparent and discussed prior to your appointment.

Before Your Appointment
- A valid GP referral is required to access Medicare rebates where eligibility criteria are met
- For private-fee patients, full payment or a 20% deposit is required at booking, with the remainder due on the day of your appointment
- Medicare rebates are processed on your behalf after the appointment (where applicable)
ADHD Assessment

- Comprehensive adult ADHD assessment including detailed symptom and developmental history, semi-structured assessment using DIVA 5.0, collateral history, formulation and treatment planning.

ADHD Treatment Initiation (Previous Assessment)
- 60 minutes
- Review for new patients with a previous comprehensive ADHD assessment for treatment initiation, including review of symptoms, assessment of comorbid conditions, and treatment planning.

- Annual review for new patients with a valid ADHD diagnosis currently on treatment.

Referral & Payment Process
This is a referral-only practice. Once your referral is received and accepted, our admin team will contact you to arrange your appointment and handle all administrative setup.
How it Works
Your GP sends a referral to SolasMind. Once received and accepted, our admin team will contact you.
Your appointment is arranged on your behalf by our team. You do not need to log into a booking platform or complete technical setup.
You will receive confirmation of your appointment along with clear payment information and any pre-appointment forms.
Payments
SolasMind uses a secure online payment system to minimise administrative burden on patients and support continuity of care.
- Pay the full fee or a 20% deposit at booking.
- The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.
- Payments are taken securely online.
- You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.
We can process your Medicare rebate for you or provide a receipt to claim it yourself.
Medicare Rebates
- Medicare rebates may be available for eligible patients. Eligibility depends on referral validity, Medicare item requirements, patient location at time of consultation, and individual circumstances.
- Rebates can be processed for you once payment is complete (where applicable), or claimed by you directly using the paid invoice.
- Cancellation and non-attendance fees are not covered by Medicare.
Cancellations & Non-attendance
To ensure appointment availability and fairness to all patients, the following fee applies for cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice or non-attendance:
Late cancellation (<48h) or no-show: $250 This fee reflects the clinical time reserved for you and is charged to the card held on file. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. Fees may be waived at the psychiatrist's discretion in exceptional situations.
