Appointment & Payment Information

This is a referral-only practice. Patients cannot self-book appointments. Once your GP referral is received and accepted, our team will contact you to arrange your appointment.
We understand that managing appointments and payments can feel stressful, especially when you're already dealing with mental health concerns. Our process is designed to be simple, fair, and supportive, with as little admin as possible for patients.

How Your Appointment is Arranged

  • You do not need to create an online account or use a booking system.
  • Once your referral is received, our admin team will arrange your appointment for you.
  • We will contact you with:
  • Your appointment date and time
  • Any forms to complete
  • Clear payment information
This approach is used to reduce stress and make access to care easier.

Payments – What to Expect

Private fees
  • Pay the full fee or a 20% deposit at booking.
  • The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.
  • Payments are taken securely online.
  • You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate.
We can process your Medicare rebate for you or provide a receipt to claim it yourself.

Medicare Rebates

  • Medicare rebates apply to eligible services only.
  • Rebates are not available for missed appointments or late cancellations.
  • If you are unsure whether your appointment is Medicare-eligible, our admin team can help.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If an appointment is cancelled late or missed, we are often unable to offer it to another patient. Late cancellation (<48h) or no-show fee: $250
This fee is not covered by Medicare. We understand unexpected situations can occur; fees may be waived at the psychiatrist's discretion in exceptional circumstances.

  • Use appointment time fairly and effectively
  • Maintain continuity of care
Appointments are arranged by our admin team, with secure online payments and Medicare processing handled through Halaxy. Clinical care and records are managed by your psychiatrist.
